Tip 3. Prepaid phone savings - Money Saving Tips And Secrets

NET10 prepaid cell phone service is pretty good and cheap.

Cell-phone bills could get very high: $50, $75 or even $90 a month is common! If you multiply it by 12, you'll realize that you are spending enormous amount on such a simple service. I believe there are better ways to spend that money so let's take a look in one way to save that works for me and might be helpful for other people.

If you are like me and don't talk that much on your cell phone, let’s say up to 250 minutes a month – then consider switching to NET10. They offer prepaid phone service with no contract. I pay $16 for 150 minutes a month and it is enough minutes for me (have to pay for 2 months to get this rate, so it's $32 including tax for 2 months).

You can buy and add minutes easily online. Everything about the service is actually quite simple. But the con is that you have to use one of NET10 cell-phones and selection is far from the best (check the website). So you are definitely giving up all bragging rights or an ability to use your dream cell-phone model. Aside from this, I'm satisfied with NET10 service.

You could get more details on their website: Net10

Tom Wow! This is cheap... How's reception?
Arthur Hi Tom! Well, reception is far from the best but not bad. From what I hear only Verizon has a good feedback among cell phone operators in New York. But the problem is not big enough for me to want to pay 50$/month extra for Verizon plan.
Shaun Kenner I have had to buy a new phone for my business. Net10 sorted allot of problems for me, because you can get more minutes if you need them, but you always know where your limit is. The phones are great for business because they are reliable and cost effective. But the real reason I’m on net10 is because you can travel nationally and there are no extra charges and you get really good signal almost everywhere.
Kimberly Net10's coverage is pretty solid considering it is on the TMobile calling network, but it does have the ocassional dropped message or call, but nothign like I had with my previous carrier. The phones themselves are super affordable and no contract allows you to change them as often as you like - I only hope the selection grows a bit. The best thing about Net10 is the savings - I'm saving more than $70 a month over my previous bill. It's a easy as Target for the purchase and you get and immediate 300 minutes right away. If you are skeptical about your prepaid experience, Net10 will convice you.
collegegirl83 Net10 is the best prepaid choice out there and the facts support it. Where else can you find a company with no contract, .10 a minute calls/.05 texting, and a dependable calling network? It's an easy answer - I've only found all this with Net10! Not to mention, the customer service is actually award winning and even though I haven't had to call yet, its refreshing to know its there. Saving more that $80 a month and having a dependable company makes Net10 my choice.
Sean Harvey I refused to use a prepaid phone for as long as i can remember them being around. Then my daughter got a net10 phone and i was still paying her collage bills and most others. I realized she was using her phone about twice as much as me for half my contract price. I got a phone and still was skeptical, but after a few weeks i cancelled my contract. You just have to try it. you never know until you do, and its not like they lock you into their service
BBall Star My favorite part about this service is.. well everything! The savings, the coverage, the low prices, etc! It has a new site available to enter in a contest and win cash money $$$ at Net10laughoff.com. Give it a shot... I did it with my son and it was too much fun. Net10 is simply the best :)
Lee Nonme I just got a TracFone: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IyAUgCvjpI4 Very cool!
