Get rid of your landline if you don't need it.


If you must have cell phone plan with unlimited minutes (or a LOT of minutes), you could take advantage of that plan in another way. You could consider getting rid of the land-line phone service. You obviously can't do it if you have DSL or dial-up internet provider and don't want to switch to cable internet. But if you use cable internet provider or could switch to it, you are free to go.
