Exercise regularly. Your health is better investment than 401K.
You may ask: "How could exercising save me money?". Well, let me tell you how it works for me. When I'm working, around lunch time my productivity plunges. I become tired and sleepy and my mind refuses to operate like it did a couple of hours ago. There are biological reasons for that and it's affecting many people. Some doctors and scientist go as far as recommending companies allowing their employees a 20 minutes nap during the lunch time.
Instead of napping, I take a short run, do some push-ups, eat lunch and I’m back in the game! Exercising energizing me, wakes me up and makes me more productive in the second half of the day and the evening. Higher productivity in turn leads to better results in the business or promotion and raise in the salary, if you are an employee.
The health benefits of the regular exercising are well known. Even though it's hard to put an exact number on how much more money you'll make and save by being healthier, it's obvious that amount would be substantial.
If you work for a company, you might not be able to exercise during work hours. I recommend taking a walk. It clears your head like magic! But definitely do some physical activity after work or in the morning.
I also believe that becoming healthier will lead to a dramatic increase in the general quality of your life: your mood and emotions, relationships and the things you'll be able to enjoy.
